Anderson Island Weather is an accurate weather station located in the interior of Anderson Island, WA, located in Southern Puget Sound.  The interior gives a more meaningful balance & buffer of the weather, vs weather data obtained close to the shoreline, as temperatures & wind get 'concentrated' as they come off the water.

It was brought "online" 17 Jan 2007, so there is no history prior to that date.  It will remain online as long as funding exists for upkeep & maintenance.

AIWeather provides data to several national organizations and agencies to help with Weather Tracking, History, & Forecasting information, for both current and forecast weather.  Click here to see who's using our data.

The web pages here combine both data gathered locally (from a Davis Instruments Vantage Pro2 weather station) and other government agencies (e.g. NOAA) to provide you with the images and meaningful data you see displayed on these pages.

We created these pages for Islanders and Visitors/Vacationers alike -- to help plan trips on or off island.
